Wander into the pretty village to visit the welcoming pub or pick up essentials from a convenient local shop. Venture just 3.5 miles south to visit the popular market town of Richmond, forming the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Richmond is home to a stunning castle, the Easby Abbey and a wonderful war memorial alongside a number of shops, eateries and fine restaurants. If you prefer a slower paced getaway, simply step outside into the scenic landscape to make the most of the endless walking trails on your doorstep, before taking respite in one of the local eateries.

Head upstairs to find a further two beautiful bedrooms, one super-king and one king-size, both complete with en-suite wet rooms.

 

From the lounge, step out of the bi-folding doors to access to the elevated terrace, home to an indulgent hot tub so you can enjoy some downtime as you soak up the picturesque sights that surround you. We found the surrounding area and the property grounds a real pleasure to be there, the property was excellent and a good base for the vacation

Lovely cottage does want a bit of TLC though, but on the whole a nice place to stay, beautiful views.

Lovely property within easy walking distance to two great pubs in the village. Gorgeous views over the lake and beyond. The hot tub took a long time to warm up but once it did it was great, albeit not very big! Beds are comfy, sofas are slippery! We enjoyed our weekend stay.
