You will get your first glimpse of this Grade II listed Queen Anne House along with the picturesque gardens as you sweep into the gravelled driveway. You’ll enter through the solid wooded doors framed with the original pillars and into the hallway which gives access to the beautifully restored accommodation offering a formal dining hall just perfect for a celebration dinner and accommodating eighteen guests. A traditional drawing room with views onto the front lawns is the perfect place for a lazy morning with a coffee and the Sunday papers. The lounge is elegantly furnished enhancing the original features of the home, finished with an open fire and Smart TV. It also boasts a large kitchen well-equipped and ready to take on the best of chef’s with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. When the time comes to say goodnight climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find five bedrooms, one double with en-suite bathroom with bath and WC, one double with en-suite shower room and WC, a further double with an en-suite bathroom, and two further double bedrooms. There is also a bathroom with hand-held shower over bath and WC. Climb the stairs to the second floor to find one double with en-suite Jack and Jill style bathroom with bath and WC, which is also accessed from the hall, one twin and one quadruple bedroom with four single beds. We had a great family weekend at the Sheriffs. It's a fantastic house and the grounds are fabulous. We would definitely come again.

The house was a very welcoming and highly spacious for the many people that were with us, the location was beautiful where u get to connect with nature and see wild animals from the various windows. The quality of the rooms was really good and the owner was a good communicator and explained their expectations as well as understood ours really well.Read more We hope to visit again soon. Hide
