This lovingly decorated cottage is in an idyllic peaceful location and ideally suited for walkers and couples wanting to explore the abundance of historic towns and Sussex coastline, just a short distance away.

Ideally situated in a quiet rural setting, with easy access to several local farm shops and good pubs making this a great place for exploring 1066 country. A haven for keen gardeners with Sarah Raven’s Perch Hill, King Johns Nursery, Pashley Manor Gardens and Great Dixter House & Gardens all within a short drive of the cottage. Keen walkers can take advantage of numerous footpaths, and National Trust properties in the local area, and those wishing to venture slightly further afield a trip to the medieval town of Rye, browsing the local antiques shops makes for a great day out. This central location is perfect for visiting nearby coastal towns or taking the train up to London for the day to enjoy a West End show.

Enter this pretty cottage, located in the owner’s grounds into a bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where there is space for dropping off coats and shoes. The bespoke kitchen is well-equipped for preparing romantic meals which can then be enjoyed at the dining table and chairs, with a gas oven and hob, small fridge/freezer, washing machine, coffee machine and microwave. The cosy lounge is the perfect place to curl up on the sofa in front of the coal effect electric fire and watch a film on the Smart TV/DVD or enjoy a good book in the rocking chair after a long day exploring the local area. Turned steep stairs from the dining area lead up to the first floor where there is a pretty bedroom with king-size wrought iron bed and large wardrobe. On the other side of the landing is a sumptuous bathroom offering a deep slipper bath, separate shower and WC.

French doors from the lounge area lead out to the garden where there is a wrought iron patio table and chairs, the perfect spot for unwinding after a long day exploring and enjoying al fresco dining within the pretty surroundings. There is private parking for one car.

Had a lovely stay at Brands cottage, everything you need is there, so peacefull and relaxing, very clean and well maintained, good location for visiting other places, we do not normally go back to a place but we have stayed 3 times at this delightfull cottage and we will be back again.

This cottage is very well-placed to visit many places of interest very close by, including Bedgebury Pinetum, Pashley Manor Gardens and Bodiam Castle. The cottage is very comfortable, and it is a joy to sit and enjoy the garden after a hard day's sightseeing.

We spent a week at this clean, bright and beautifully furnished cottage. Really relaxing sitting in the lovely secluded garden listening to and watching the birds. The perfect location for visiting the many local attractions. Thoughtful touches throughout the property, Angela is an excellent host. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Very cleverly designed, built and fitted out. Fascinated by all the detailed woodworking techniques used. Lovely area, rarely need to go more than 10 miles to find worthwhile places to visit, explore or walk.

Wow what a lovely place to stay for a holiday location. The cottage is very comfortable and equipped to a very high standard. It is situated in a lovely quiet location and is a short drive from the local rail station. The owner is very approachable and helpful.

We've done a few self-catering cottages and this is one of the best. Comfortable, clean, well equipped, spacious, tranquil, reliable internet, good outdoor seating in lovely garden, excellent location, good local walking, friendly and helpful proprietor.. very difficult to fault!
