Nearby Tansley village is nestled on the edge of the Peak District next to the market town of Matlock. Matlock has a variety of shops, supermarkets, a launderette, cafes, restaurants, pubs, indoor swimming pool, weekly market and parks. Matlock Bath is a well-known resort on the River Derwent, visit popular Heights of Abraham cable cars, enjoy fish and chips and numerous entertainments throughout the year. The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn. Nearby Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Matlock Bath, all easily accessible by car.
