What a wonderful stay we had at Blakelow Barn over New Year. Booked to be in the middle of nowhere to get away from fireworks and got exactly that. The Dogs loved the private wood and had a great time. Found some nice local walks and not too far from Matlock for a bit of shopping. Needless to say we came home and booked to go back . Thanks.

Wonderful barn in a really quiet part of the Peak District. It was warm, welcoming and the owners provided everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Best of all, the fireworks were hardly audible with TV on so our lovely dog had a really restful weekend. The garden is huge and secure with fences and walls so we were comfortable letting the Read moredog lay outside when the weather allowed. Matlock is a 5min drive away and there's plenty to see and do within a few miles. Hide

The dogs loved the garden and we are lookibg forward to returning in warmer/sunnier weather. No complaints at all. This is our dream location for our own home!
