An ideal location from which to explore both the coast and countryside of Suffolk, the village of Debenham offers a range of amenities and places to eat. Sightseers will enjoy strolling country lanes to walk or cycle and a plethora of charming medieval towns and villages to visit. No trip to Suffolk would be complete without exploring the scenic Suffolk Heritage Coast with charming coastal resorts including Southwold (30 miles), home of the famous brewery and pier and Aldeburgh (23 miles) which are easily accessible with the pretty A1120 tourist route. Framlingham (9 miles) and Orford Castles (22 miles) are well worth a visit, as is the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds (24 miles) with Abbey gardens, prestigious shopping, a great market, the Theatre Royal and a brewery.

With its circular layout and nostalgic structures, this delightful mill conversion offers beautiful accommodation set out over two floors. Modern conveniences meet traditional country character in every room, featuring ancient beams and exposed brick walls alongside underfloor heating and up-to-date appliances. The lounge features two comfortable sofas arranged around the wood burner and Smart TV, ideal for sinking into after a day exploring the area or cosying up on a cooler evening. When the sun shines, step through the door into the adjacent sunroom and admire the view from the warmth of the inside. There’s also a dining table here for mealtimes with superb scenery. All meals can be prepared next door in the stylish kitchen, where you’ll find a breakfast bar for those easy morning snacks. Moving up the oak staircase with glass panelling to the first floor, there is a spacious king-size bedroom with a TV. High ceilings, exposed wooden flooring and a central skylight allow for a light and airy feel. Walking out onto the large balcony, guests can once again enjoy panoramic views over rural Suffolk while indulging in a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside, the mill features a wonderful patio area ideal for a spot of al fresco dining with garden furniture and a gas BBQ. For the ultimate in relaxation, a private hot tub in which to sit back and gaze over the fields beyond or up to the stars. A path leads around the mill and the moat below is home to ornamental fish.
