Located just two miles from the village of Wedmore which lies between the Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills and has a variety of restaurants and a delicatessen. Close to Wells, with its famous cathedral and shopping area and Burnham-on-Sea with its golden sandy beaches, seaside shops, restaurants and Cheddar, with its famous Gorge to the north. Other attractions include Clarks Shopping Village, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury Tor and the historic cities of Bristol and Bath. A perfect position to visit an array of places for all ages and tastes.

On entering this converted stone ground floor apartment, you are met by a boot/utility room which is a perfect place to store muddy boots, hang coats and put wet clothes straight into the washing machine after a day on the beach. This leads to the shower room with shower and WC. Stepping down into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which overlooks the courtyard you will find many character features which include exposed beams, slate flooring and some exposed stone walls. Relax in the lounge area with your favourite book in front of the woodburner (first basket of logs included - further can be purchased from the owner), or take time to watch your favourite TV (with firestick) programme. The kitchen area is well-equipped and is perfect to try out some new recipes it has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The bedroom has a double bed and a very relaxing feel with a fresh, modern décor and a door leading to the private terrace and shared garden.

Venturing outside you will find yourself on the private and secluded terrace, a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or some outside dining with garden furniture. You will also find an enclosed cottage style garden. You are also welcome to use the mature orchard which leads down to a stream, which is a perfect place to enjoy beautiful sunsets in the late summer evenings. There is also off-road parking for 1 car approximately 50 yards from the property along a level path.

Lovely place to stay, perfect location for walks with or without a dog and we loved the woodburner. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to others to stay.

Very cosy, welcoming cottage. Excellent for the dog as theres a private garden as well as the orchard for a run around. A little remote but still plenty to do in the area, walked a mile into the village but was a country lane so need to be careful, three good pubs in the village. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Orchard Farm (Pippin) - the cottage immediately felt like home and was very cosy and inviting. We spent a week here and fully enjoyed just lazing around in the cottage and amazing grounds (which our dog loved!) but also when we ventured out we found the cottage to be amazingly located for lots of nearby beautiful towns, vRead moreillages, pubs, attractions etc. The cottage and surrounding area was dog friendly which was a bonus. We loved our stay at Pippin Cottage, we were warmly welcomed by the owners. The cottage was well equipped with all kitchen appliances and utensils. A lovely well situated cottage. Well equipped within a complex of properties. Good for touring around local area. We enjoyed our stay but the cottage is perhaps better suited to those with dogs.

The cottage was fantastic. Plenty of room for the two of us and our small dog. The enclosed garden was an absolute bonus and ideal for the dog. The shower/wet room was great, with plenty of space. Fantastic stay.Owners extremely friendly and accommodating, provided good recommendations regarding the local area. Couldnt fault the cottage, and the magic garden is a right little gem (I enjoyed my morning coffee in the garden). We had good weather but it got cold at night so the log burner was a great plus. Had a wonderful relaxing short break at Pippin which had everything needed. The accommodation was clean throughout, comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor space was great for the dog and nice to have some private outdoor space, especially with the pretty spring flowers. A great location to explore the area, with easy access to places like Cheddar, Read morethe Mendips, Wells and Glastonbury. The farms cider is a must! Will certainly return as soon as possible. Hide

It is a quaint little cottage, ideal for two people. Comfy bed, roomy shower. Lovely little enclosed garden. Small Orchard very handy if you have a dog. Unfortunately we found it too remote for us.
