The lodge itself is very pretty and quite striking from outside. The interior decoration is charming and cozy. The only thing that cannot be changed is the A92 which runs closely past. This in itself is not noisy if people drive within the speed limit, especially motorbike users!

Lovely cottage, fencing is being replaced to allow dogs to use the garden. Comfortable cottage (gate House), clean and well equipped. Main point to consider, it's 20m from the A92, something not clear on any of the descriptions. If you are aware of the heavy trucks passing by, then it's a good place to explore this region of Scotland.

Very clean and comfortable with sensible, pleasing dcor and exemplary communication channels should there be any queries or need for help. The only drawback is the proximity to an A road with commuter traffic early in the day if you fancy a lie-in. It is not a nuisance at night.
